Thinking Of Neil Armstrong Poem by Tom Billsborough

Thinking Of Neil Armstrong

Rating: 5.0

Enduring light and often
Mirror of my solitude,
You watch me and I watch you
When cloudy curtains part
And I perceive your
Barren moonscape.
Oh, goddess, truly virgin,
In my heart
Until a bouncing astronaut,
His mission half complete,
Expressed a child's delight
And you became
The trampoline of night!
And how we shared his joy,
This boy of bounding courage,
I still reflect with gratitude
His steps which brought
A further magic to the moon.

Moon's mission may not be completed in a chance but further magic moon does interestingly. Nice gratitude is expressed...10

I think it still retains its mystery and magic. But I thank Neil for a lovely memory. He was a very brave man.
