This Cold Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

This Cold

Rating: 5.0

Did I have breakfast this morning?
It seems so long ago
As I look at the clock
And it says it's one in the afternoon
Where did the time go?
Time slips my consciousness
Since I got this cold
And I wonder if only those stale chips at noon
If there's any dirty dishes in there
Hoping I did eat something early this morning
