I sit in my room
Waiting to hear that phone call
the one I've been waiting for
the one you promised to make to me
But nothing, not even a letter came
Days and days went by
I never left the phone
I waited for a letter
nothing ever happened
weeks, months went by
I waited for your call
Maybe even a letter
never did I get it
never recieved one sinlge call
But this time
I stopped waiting for you to remember
stopped waiting for you to call
not thinking of your letter
the very thought of you was gone

This hits the spot, the trials and frustrations played out throughout this piece till the end, where you finally accepted a place where you could move on I can relate to so much of what you say Love duncan X
Very well thought out piece, great emotion drips down the page, it really can be difficult persuading our hearts to forget, but i think its more about accepting what has gone, or lost is the healer. nicely penned C.B......10 from me Stay strong best wishes Jon
