This world where we now dwell
Is filled with affliction;
Persistent pain and ache
Cause severe depression.
Human heart nowadays
Is wounded by defeat;
Emotion is damaged
From the head to the feet.
Life on earth is fraught with
Risk, peril, and danger;
Wars, quakes, storms, and bushfires
Are a huge disaster.
Mankind is full of test,
Grief, trial, and problem;
Everyone's mind suffers
From trouble and mayhem.
Listen to solution
Only one God can tell;
We shall be brought out of
This world where we now dwell.
A wonderful and insightful write imbued with wisdom. Beautiful lines that inspire. Excellent Quatrain, Bernard.

This world where we now dwell.. full of wisdom and a little bit of warning still, eminently well writ, and worth remembering till we quit. Lovely
