Thought Fixtures Poem by Laquory Jones

Thought Fixtures

It seems in life 90 percent of my time was trying to get accepted
Parents left me neglected and to this day they just choose to
Ignore the facts so I find myself constantly fading to black
So how does the world expects me to react my thoughts connecting
Through the sequences of my mind while emotions and turmoil
Becomes combined I no longer can be defined I'm just trying to
Redefine time with eyes wide open as I'm thrust into these dark times
Letting loose of my tongue as it sparks up these sharp rhymes
While painting pictures poetry's becoming my thoughts fixtures
Life and turmoil becoming like dark mixtures
My only dream is becoming an poetic figure and display my
Work of art life becoming like a game of darts
Just for critics and their syndicates whose only jobs are to
Rip apart my mind and thoughts as I try to ignite some sparks
Of inspiration (Richie you're leaking of desperation)

Just listen to what you're saying and How do you intent to
To spark up the nation we're living in revelation or is it all just
Biblical fabrications just to keep we as people fascinated
As we're forced to watch our freedom assassinated
Speeches are eradicated struggles of our societies are what
I've always hated struggles in our climates is of our making
And none of this should be ever taken lightly
No need for me to tread this lightly
Will people always hate what's said more likely
Stemming from cold hearts probably
More reasons for sparking up our reality
As we aim for constant change let the world hear
Our rage before all of our freedoms slips away
