Thoughts...(Free Verse)
More than loneliness pulls upon the soul
But a longing to love and to be loved
To give and to receive
Enjoying the mind not mere flesh
The touch that brings happiness
To be held in love’s embrace
Not just the caress of lover’s plea
For two minds to inspire one
The times have changed
And the sands have shifted
The desire remains and will not settle
For less than what the soul craves
