Till Then Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Till Then

Rating: 5.0

Till Then

dear waning moon
I say goodbye with a smile and a tear
I have to let you go
I'll see you so
in three weeks, no?

dear waning Netherland moon so dear
I cry for you with a smile and a tear
but you're still sublime
also for this last time

you are not my lover and yet you remain to me so very dear

waning Netherland moon,
see you again so soon
my precious boon
from full swoon
till this saddest waning Netherland moon

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
POET's Notes: From Full Moon to this waning moon, what a difference. I have always followed her like this, rather, she follows me wherever I go, she is back! Even when she was only 3/4 visible yesterday, still so big and bright on that highway I was speeding through, wonderful, she always follows me, all the way to my house, surprising experience, because I never had the chance (often forgot to look outside and find her) to see such a beautiful step-by-step, the weather was fine again and the sky was not filled with rain clouds, beautiful, also this waning moon. Thank you for your feedback
