Time Has Healed The Pain Poem by Misty Heart

Fighting back the loneliness...
that crushed my gentle heart;
that hunts me in my every dream;
confused me where to start.

Putting back the broken pieces...
of my wounded heart in vain;
restoring me; my contrite spirit;
and inspired me over again.

Filling up this emptiness...
that took me from within;
that stole away my pretty smiles;
questioned me where i've been.

I thought i could not stand again...
could not see a brighter light.
Since then you walk away from me;
since then youre out of sight.

But now the pretty smiles and glows...
were back and hid the tears.
Sweet memories are not enough...
to hurt me and to bring my fears.

I loved you but you left me...
and im through with stormy rain.
You hurt me but its not that tough...
for time has healed the pain.
