Saturday evening
Sun settling down
Everyone in holiday mood
Waiting for the next day
Sharing lighter moments
Having savories
Enjoying melodies
Journey as usual
Returning home
Back from work
Hectic and toiling
Travelling in a vehicle
With a strength of around twenty
Men and women
Young and not so old
Pregnant women too
All seemed normal
The same as ever
Twenty minutes from resumption
When all of a sudden
When everyone in relaxing mood
The vehicle
Kissing the side median
Losing control
Altogether completely
Swerving here and there
Swaying criss cross
So violently
Unable to hold
Toppling down
Within seconds
Miraculous happening
Myself standing still
Out of the van
Hearing a thud
Sound of broken glasses
Safe and secure
Went through the vehicle
One or two men
Much as myself
Helping all and sundry
Out of the dreaded vehicle
Very soon
Many of them
Admitted in hospital
Emergency care given
Much to relief
Of everyone
All out of danger
Stable as pronounced
By doctors
Working hard
In their dedicated profession
All our group
Injuries though
But manageable
Thank God
Prayers to Almighty
Answered at instant
An experience
Life saving
Still in mind
Echoing forever…
Travelling in a vehicle With a strength of around twenty Men and women - sometimes in a lorry or overcrowded van with inexperienced driver, especially an uneducated young boy of 20 - 25 years old; results in accident; many people sustained injuries; sometimes with one or two casualties. True picture and warning.

It is good to run and help as human some precious lives saved the humanity is shined
Very well written sir.. I loved the tone of the poem and your use of short sentences, each hitting it's point brilliantly...

A breath taking incident where all all massacre could have done, but escaped from death's kiss. And everyone saved at last. Thanks for sharing your experience.

A vehicle accident and much to the luck of passengers no harm and timely medical assistance received. A good poem but bad event of life.
