To A Loving Heart
When I want to feel loved,
I close my eyes and think of you.
When I want some soft, soothing words
To cheer me up and brighten my day,
I restlessly wait for your call that never comes.
When I want to see ‘a thing of beauty',
I look not at your pictures but your pages.
When I want to see beauty personified
I utter your name, knowing
That your face is not to be seen,
But only the light you emit
From your loving heart,
Can be seen and felt.
