Your purity astounds me,
Your beauty surrounds me,
The perfect roundness of your shape,
Your white and pinkish blend,
Your perfect smoothness, velvet craves.
The waters that have so allowed,
Your more than stunning birth,
Remind me of the Birth at Sea,
Of Venus, love on earth.
Sandra, after seeing Botticelli's painting I can truly understand and appreciate your poem. The poem has a magical effect on me now. I can feel the birth of something pure and uplifting. The birth of love and the birth of a pure spirit, a pearl that you call Venus. Goddess of love born a new with your words. Thank you dear poet for soothing my soul... Ayman
Now, this is Poetry in absolute...The work is imbued with crisp, tight, short cropped linage that enables the structural movement to glide from line to line like a shiny Susan B. Anthony tossed across a freshly glaced icepond...Bravo Poetess Sandra! ~FjR~
I'm glad to see that someone else knows more the worth of just one single grain of sand.. iip Impeccable of course.
