To Every Poet Poem by Laquory Jones

All I ever can think about is the time that be wasting many times
I've fell upon the pavement especially when I've found that the road taken
Seems adjacent with the many things that I seem to be facing
I'm trying hard not to be complacent with the things that runs through
My mind it's just amazing what I can think up in the mind of my
Basement Success and consistency is what I seem to be chasing
At least I just hope to be somewhere embedded into
Someone's memory as one of the greatest to ever do poetry
Though past poets provided me with their artistry their blueprints of
Life sorta speak so many things in their life seem to have molded
Me my words became like golden keys that we all possess from
Deep underneath our souls perhaps there's a reason that it's so
As we take the time for each of us to grow breaking down our
Obstacles as we go but there's one thing I have to let you know

Look beyond the golden gates learn to just appreciate those silly
Mistakes You'll then find success at an unbelievable rate
And once you found that just keep up that pace
Then soon you'll look back at this golden day as the sun shows its
Shining face you'll find out starting today what your purpose in
Life truly is emotions becoming too real for touch
Sometimes it might feel as if life is getting too much
But that's just life keeping you on the up and up
Because hardships are a part of us
In the end you only have you to trust leave your negativity
In the dust excuse me if I'm talking rather much
But I think you matter much
So I'm believing in you like you do for me

I fell over a thousand times but the key is to save a thousand lives
Is that possible I don't know but I have to be willing to try
The meaning of life isn't just to barely scrape by
And if poetry is the means of creating unity among human beings
Then that is what I'll decree I've put my heart and soul into this
Oh yes indeed and I'll do it a million times three no matter how
Much I continue to bleed it's a sacrifice when you're planting seeds
For the betterment of society now that's truly a sight to see
I can't explain it must be the fight in me it's just my values of truth
what I hope to bestow to you as you give the world your dedication
Spreading your own enlightenment across the nations
