To Hear Those Words Again - Poem by Adam McKim

To hear those words again,
Would be music to my ears.
Eliminating all my worries,
Smashing all my fears.

To hear those words again,
Coming straight from your heart.
It's easy to know when you are here,
But distance now keeps us apart.

To hear those words again,
To let me know you are there.
For everyday I say it to you,
To let you know I still care.

To hear those words again,
Even though I know you do.
Just once after all this time,
Let me hear 'I love you'.

My friend, you show a brilliant work here. The relation that I can feel between the lines here is so nice. Gathering the words and put them near each other can make a perfect unique work like this one! I enjoy your penning here. So cute and nice! always it's the soft feelings that make us be alive and think about good things! well written!
    My regards

Simple words. Forceful emotion. We could go on hearing these words again and again. I liked this poem. (Report) Reply

Wow, another amazing poem. I apologise for repeating my words, but, again, your words flow smoothly and sound like they were meant to be written. I can feel the emotions in this poem and whoever this girl is, is a very lucky woman. A beautiful poem. Keep writing.
