Sea-Woman Awake On A Sleeping Shore Poem by Naseer Ahmed Nasir

Sea-Woman Awake On A Sleeping Shore

Rating: 4.9

Her eyes
Are deeper than eyes
Her dreams
Are deeper than dreams
Her thoughts
Are deeper than thoughts
Her words
Are deeper than words
Her poems
Are deeper than poems.

Obviously a writing of deep admiration of a special woman. Whether real or not, it does not matter. The essence of the piece is the admiration. While I cannot declare the meanings of your poems to be clear. The quality of your structure and your approach to poetry is such that there is a beauty in each presentation and there are no wasted words. You are a writer of quality. GW62

I was wondering where did you vanish :) - sunk into the sea-woman's eyes and poems and the wind still repeats your name Naseer Naseer :) . Very romantic piece...

Vision is the art of seeing the invisible, it takes love, insight and reverence to connect to someone at such a deep level. simple in expression, but very deep in thought. Actually I WILL LOVE TO READ THE ORIGINAL IN URDU. What an enchanting title, like a fairt tale. it makes me feel as if I didn't get the essence of it. Mamta
