To Wake At Dawn Poem by Manonton Dalan

To Wake At Dawn

she ask mirror why?
why nobody notice her
even she barely has
no clothes on; skimpy
tears run to her cheeks
and drop on shiny floor
silently burst; crystals

she sat by corner alone
stretching her long legs
throw her shoes with a bang
scaring her pretty Persian cat
but her dog came and lick
her pretty face, cuddle her
and sleep through quiet night

We all need that little bit of love, that little bit of appreciation. Beautifully expressed.
