Too Complex Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Too Complex

When basic problems begin,
With them easily faced.
Yet left to pretend not to exist.
They become too complex to fix.
Even to those with patience to admit,
They have chosen to look away.
And move quick to an exit.
Instead of becoming exhausted,
By hearing and seeing excuses made.
Repeatedly heard by the ones,
Accusing others for the predicament...
They would rather stay and live in.
Than to acknowledge what has been created,
Resulted from the eliminating of truth.
And facts to delude.
