Touching Souls Poem by Midnight Clarity

Touching Souls

I touched a soul or two
along the way
trying not to bruise them
as I smiled and waved
and lived my day
out loud so life
could hear me sing.
Just stitching dreams
together, fine tapestry
of mists and colour
blending with the light
that makes the rainbows
shimmer on the walls
and in the sky,
sweet prisms
in my eyes, so full
of tears and joy
as I meet you
gently touch you
cannot reach you
how I miss you.
