Treasure Chest Of Life - Poem by Reanty Hosein

Life is fleeting, a reflection of time
Live today, for tomorrow is blind
Each word or deed, make it count
Passing in time will leave no doubt

Pains from the past, push them down
Surely a smile is better than a frown
Jewels we wear, worldly possessions
Can certainly become an obsession

A rose, a flower lives by the hour
Admire their beauty, it’s an honour
The treasure chest of life has no limit
Peek inside, love radiates within it!

Tarry a little, ponder a while
Decadence of youth surely beguiles
A race is on, to the beyond
Embrace loved ones, before they are gone!
