Happiness and sadness
Are just temporary
Like the murmur of a morning breeze
That flows through the window
And the waves on the ocean
Without permanent destination.

A king asked his minister for a few words on his rings. Looking at that if he is happy he may become sad and if he he is sad he may become happy. The minister advised him, " This time will also pass."
Short, cute and truthful...and the simile is too lovely...an adorable poem indeed...full mark 10
like murmur of a morning breeze, and waves of the ocean, great comparison indeed, under superfluous waves there is utter calmness at the depth, lovely.
note: the comment space didn't allow me to write a long comment all together, that is why I have to break it down to parts..I do apologize...thanks again to you Rose and to all of your readers
part 1/ Oh dear what is a fantastic imagination and fantasy images we are finding here in this golden treasure? murmur of a morning breeze, That flows through the window....
part 2/ by the way only few people who meditation the sea be able to see that the ocean waves goes to every directions And the waves on the ocean, Without permanent destination.
part 3/ on the other hand; these two new metaphors strongly attached to the meaning of happiness and sadness, as they are temporary as the age of human being, very interesting and provoking idea, well done dear Poet Rose, and you get a top mark for this lovely masterpiece of work.
Yes, there is no fixed route or time for joy or sorrow to travel. Sometimes happiness is followed by a fit of terrible pain. Sometimes an unhappy man may become suddenly joyful. Thus life is a swing between two points - joy and sorrow. When sorrows come, let us believe that it is only temporary. Such a thought will help us swim through all difficulties. A beautiful poem unraveling a great truth!
