Trickle Of Thought -2 Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

Trickle Of Thought -2

Rating: 4.8

No matter how we drive
Ourselves to heights
Sometimes the wind
Of fate aborts
And sweeps away
All the great things
We built leaving
Us nothing.

How mysterious fate is. Is it controlling our life or guiding us through this life journey? A very well written poetic question. Thanks for sharing.

Matters only the dream that drives to heights and hopes that the wind will change its direction next time it will help me the nothing will be changed in something.

Reminds me of two songs: TWIST OF FATE by Olivia Newton-John and WIND OF CHANGE by Scorpions. Simply significant, dear ate Rose...10+++

Sad but true. We are never complete masters of our destiny. Your poem says so in a soft poetic way but with undying truth. Beautifully written, dear Rose.

So, true! Sometimes we build and build and in a moment or two all seems gone. But the building taught us a lesson and so did fate. After an intense period of grief, we tend to discover life with all its miracles again.

All that walks/moves on a predictable path are mechanical things devoid of life. We call it life and can't expect that things fall in line. 'Leaving us nothing..', but that is life. Wisdom apart, a great write. It is stupidest thing imaginable if we paraphrase a poem in prose.
