Twelve Bar Lil Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Twelve Bar Lil

Rating: 5.0

Sweet Lilly Larnie
plays the blues away
she plays a three quarter strat
like B.B King plays Lucille

She plays the twelve bar blues
like nobody else can
she plays a blues lick so fast and quick
it makes you sick

She's twelve bar Lil
the three quarter strat Queen
you wouldn't believe
she's only three

For my Daughter Lilly, who's now four.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I'm teaching Lil to play the guitar,
she loves her three quarter strat.

I'm very happy to know that a little girl of three plays the guitar so well. She must be a real child prodigy! May God bless Lilly dear to become a wonderful musician. Chandra Thiagarajan

Some kids are so talented and they make their parents so proud! I wish little Lil and her Dad all the best! Once when she is old enough to understand this poem, she will definitely be thankful to her Dad!

Daddies are great people when they wear the Daddy's Jacket, to teach and guide their children and you are one of them! Best wishes to cute little Lil! Nice to read this poem!
