Twilight Of The Blue Jay Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Twilight Of The Blue Jay

Rating: 5.0

sapphire on sapphire
at the rise of jewelled night
when the stars flash fire

mysterious quest
like the wide-eyed owl spying
as beauty's fading

in the vast deep blue
the scarlet sun is sinking
like a cherry bomb

How ironic that the end of the day should be the most beautiful. A gift from God! Thank you very much.
