Two Men Were Freed From Their Burdens

Rating: 5.0

I found the rust
clotted tears in an old padlock.
A man was in the cell
for his life imprisonment.
Jailor opened the padlock
let the prisoner to be free.
And I saw his teary eyes
want to speak something.
Out of his sobs
I caught few words.
His wife has eloped
With his Jailor friend.

An interesting piece; makes me wonder - were you one of the two men?

That's a jailer for you, they keep you locked up, then they run off with your woman.
