Ugliness Under Beauty - Poem by Frans Hendjala

Though in the eyes of a beholder beauty lies
There is known beauty under which ugly lies
A blessing that knows no bonds just breaking ties
Head high as strong but sadness fills your eyes

I wish the sister grow to be wise
There are best lessons in life if taken as a course
Flaunting her beauty makes it just a curse
I can’t think of a bad way to live life worse

Every man she meets only goes for her beauty
How I wish they meet her inner personality
Kind of hard when obscured by appeal of her body
Nobody really appreciated her in totality

Now sweety is shedding tonnes of tears on a pillow
And her life is like gal and hard to swallow
Best advices were offered and she failed to follow
So she got none to blame but herself for thinking shallow

Beautiful woman, seek love, it is hidden
Don't waste time on regrets, your past is forgiven
Fruits of love are sweet, for they are forbidden
This are my words to your heart, a courageous ribbon
