Unappreciated Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unappreciated

When people begin to perceive,
Anyone who takes interest...
In the doing of their deeds.
Is jealous and envious.
And chooses deception to use
To get from them something to receive.
They only thing,
One can do to prove them fools.
Is to no longer express interest.
In anything done they should do.
With a keeping a distance.
Noticed to be shown.
That an interest once to have had,
Has left no reason to go wasted.
Unappreciated.
