Unknitting The Joy Poem by Sameer Ahmed

Unknitting The Joy

Children gather
invite the rain, they cuddle.
Frolic in silt, scream-less.
Joy is a tattler.
Rubor of fun wanes
in the dust of brown dwarf.
Healing in mud poops
castings and wrinkle slicks,
A cure for earth.
