Unleash the poets!
Let them rule the world without
The McCarthyism of the day
Seize it by the throat
And chain it 'til the mistakes are corrected
As the oceans become blue and natural
Once more
And the fires are drenched 'til gone
And let the poets stop hunger
And crimes with a white collar
Stop mental illness by letting the children
Create beautiful art and music
Teach them respect
By showing
Let the poet stop the guns
By putting flowers in them
And let the poets instruct what love is
By holding our loved ones in our arms
With more than words
