The dark shadows in middle of light
The buzz of silence in middle of sound
The prick of doubt in a calm mind
The stab of jealousy in a heart of love
The tiny crack of voice in cheerful
goodbyes
Moist eyes in a face full of smiles
The pang of guilt in a moment of joy
A tinge of regret in a happy life
Hidden feelings and emotions
Pulling the strings of our hearts
and minds
Never buried nor fully alive
Unnamed actors in the play of life.
