Valentines Day - Poem by Brandi Vail
A day of romance, happiness, and loneliness.
A day meant to be so full of joy and love,
But not meant for the single drama queen.
Not meant for that heartbroken girl who sheds a tear nearly every day
And not meant for the girl whose love left.
Watching the couples, hearing them flirt.
I can’t help but feel like Shit!
No, really, it’s ok.
Just shove my face in the fact that I’m NOT good enough.
A day I once begged to come.
Now all I want is for it to go away.
