Valentines Day-A Tide Of Love In A Time Of Thorns.
You came to me like a proposal of red petals
on a swelling tide of rose water.
You love me and I love you
no more time for rituals
for time is a fickle thing
and over your lovely shoulder
the tide of time is turning
bearing only the thorns
we did not see before
