Vedas 22 - Ishavasyopanishad - Prayer
AUM
Fullness is That.
Fullness is This.
From That fullness- this fullness doth proceed.
Fullness this, may have a lack, a want,
Fullness this, if withdrawn, or removed,
Fullness this, even if deleted;
Fullness That remains unchanged, unaffected
Fullness That remains ever Full!
Ishavasyopanishad is found in the 40th chapter of Yajur Veda. In the series of Upanishads, Ishavasyopanishad is given the first place. Hence, I begin the specific Upanishadic poems from here.
There are 18 hymns in this Upanishad which eulogises a life of discipline that establishes integrity with no distinction. All the 18 verses are highly profound like the 18 chapters of Bhagavad Geeta.

ॐ पूर्णमदः.... पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते | This is central to the Vedanta philosophy and reflects the true nature of the bond between Atman and Brahaman through their respective Fullness. This shloka leads us to a better understanding of the integrity of the two. Thanks, Geeta ji, for such a nice presentation.
