Post delivery, she was heading from
Hospital homewards.
The rain God blessed her,
showed his blissful head,
a gently downpour occurred.
It continued upto our residential
area as we were nearing
our sweet home adjacent to
Patia Big Bazar.
Her maternal grand- mother,
carrying her in her soft sofa like lap, was tempted to name her varsa,
our first grand daughter.
Whenever she comes from
Hyderabad to Bhubaneswar,
she is invariably accompanied by
a shower of gentle rain.
This time, when Bhubaneswar was
writhing under intense rise
of mercury and skull splitting
solar rays, there was a heavy
shower also from black
cloudy sky that created
pleasant sensation,
presented some relief
and relaxation,
aptly justifying her nickname
and effective relation with
the God of rain.
Beautifully, tenderly and lovingly penned. Great tribute.
A wonderful tribute to a beloved granddaughter who has a beautiful and appropriate name. A blessing from above indeed. Congratulations for having her.
You are lucky to have the goddess in your home. Nicely inked. Congrats to you and blessings to her.
Many congratulations on your first granddaughter, and your lively tribute to her.
