Walls Poem by LaRon Green Sr.

Walls

Rating: 5.0

Everywhere you turn
there is a wall
from North, South, East and West
they stand
big, little, short and tall
We think that we can run free
only we are watching too much TV
You come across a wall that is short
thinking you can overcome
only you being crave
by lions, tigers and bears
at their mighty fort
You been had by the notion
that you climb the highiest
mountain to victory
being sucker into misery
from them bigotry
Man can claim freedom
in the mind
build walls of all kind
cement, brick to clay
to keep us seperated
day to day
Time will come when
walls will be broken
through the vision of self(knowledge, love, worth, dignity etc.)

We try to live seperated by walls built inside our mind...as you said 'the vision in self' is all important...helps remove those walls... Good write...the concept inside has been brought out in well framed lines...10
