Waves Poem by Rob Lamberton

Waves

Rating: 5.0

Though the petals fall
Silently upon hardwood
Laughing at the waves
Washing away hope and words
Words that would never be tamed

A beautiful and meaningful poem with striking imagery re: fragile petals and hardwood. When we feel vulnerable we lean on our strength. Indeed, words can never be tamed, their essence are enduring. A great poem well thought out.

So beautifully painted with such heart and soul, words with a melancholy flow.
