We're the sun,
We shine in power
We're the moon,
That glows in might

Kill us with your unjust mind
Trample us like the ground
Like the dust,
We'll rise.

We're giants,
Set upon a glorious land
With our deep-rooted mind,
We'll grow reaching the sky

With your mind, see us less
With your gun, gun us down
We're a fountain,
We're deathless

We're blacks with glorious minds,
We're Africans, we have value
And with our lives,
We'll fly across the colourful sky
