We Don't Talk But Share A Smile Poem by Akhtar Jawad

We Don't Talk But Share A Smile

Rating: 5.0

You may dislike,
but if it's good,
it's good.
You may like,
but it's bad,
it's bad.
You may dislike me
but by now I didn't get anything to dislike you.
The positive thing is this
that when we see each other
we share a smile,
though we,
now,
do not talk.
but we still walk,
on the same pavement,
that has so many flowers,
how can we forget
this greenery was jointly planted by us.
Who knows if this smile is suddenly changed in a laughter,
laughter in a hug,
the hug in a kiss,
and,
the kiss in revival of love,
and you know the magic of love,
Imagine what may happen after revival.

I love this poem full of hope and love. I think it is one of the most touching poems I have read in a long time. Somehow it makes one think beyond what is written. Excellent!
