J-ust welcome the new year,
A-fter the old one passes by;
S-tart a new beginning,
M-ake your dreams soar high.
I-t's best to welcome the new year,
N-ot turning back the clock;
E-arly eighteenth of December, win over the stumbling block.

O-nce you welcome the new year,
R-ising sun will light your way;
I-t's going to be fine weather,
L-etting you see the break of day.
I-n spite of the bleak horizon, let every doubt disappear;
O-pen your mind and heart, as you welcome the new year.
