What is heavier than many a thing?
Heavier than tons
of load,
than earth and sky,
than stars and oceans,
than luxurious obsessions,
than persona and perfections
Tell me O, heart
I pine to know
My knowledge is
melting
like snow
But in a corner
of my heart
I hear a whisper
quite apart,
From the sound of
beating
and bubbling,
Words are heavier than
many a thing,
They make or
mar
the human life,
In the broad field
of
unending strife.
