What's In A Soup? Poem by Sandra Feldman

What's In A Soup?

Rating: 5.0

They told me
I was a good cook,
Maybe?
Don't go by the book,
I improvise,
However, my favorite
Recipe
Is alphabet soup,
Nourishing,
With audacity
Body and mind,
Loving all words,
I find.

Even while you think of food and cooking, you manage somehow to still make poetry your first love. Very well done with a twist of humor, your style.10+
