Even though Dean was wheelchair-bound.
He didn't let this get him down.
He loved to clown around.
And take trips downtown.
Dean stayed one horny man.
He still loved to take his wife to hump-land.
if you don't want it included, let me know and i'll remove it. it should be in shortly. you will get your name applied to it twice and the 'partial link' to its page will be supplied to my showcase readers. Thanks. bri :)
Those trips 'downtown'. Love that fourth line; great double entendre. So much imagination in this poem.
i'd like to take many husbands' wives to hump-land, but Bri only has so much time! ! ! to MyPoemList. i saw this poem in Lora Colon's list of poems read, but i don't see a comment from her. she must have been too busy feeling sorry for herself (ha ha) that she isn't getting any! bri :)
the ending made me laugh. Free Verse? well, yeah, i didn't have to pay to read it, but here is what Wikipedia says: Free verse is an open form of poetry. It does not use consistent meter patterns, rhyme, or any other musical pattern. Many poems composed in free verse thus tend to follow the rhythm of natural speech. to be continued....................
