When It Comes To Love Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

When It Comes To Love

Rating: 5.0

When it comes to love, I don't know
What the hell I am talking about
Seeing love anywhere, the only thing I observed was
Everlasting love of my parents
And disaster of relationships that the whole family suffered
Nothing in between
I just imagine what love is--a rom-com
I don't think I could take the breakup
As I remembered the heartache of each time my family
Experienced
I don't want to be hurt, but it's lonely
Not to have a lover

Dear LeeAnn: I thought I left a comment here last week, but I don't see it. This poem has inspired my latest, called 'Loneliness Abounds'.

The common dilemma of modern times! Bonds are fragmentary but loneliness is terrible. Love is a necessity, though unreliable.

Where there is love, there is pain.

This is so sad, LeeAnn! Use the example of your parents as to what true love should be. Best of luck to you in the future.
