When Real And Surreal Meet
Poetry
Flirts with the absurd,
The symptomatic, suggestive
Meandering of things
That make you feel
But also think,
Amazing endeavor
With unpredictable links.

Plays around with words,
Sometimes making
Invisible ladders,
Never before thought
Or seen,
Converting imagination
Into the flight
Of Cobalt Blue Birds
That are only blue prints
Of desired dreams.

The real and the surreal,
Combined
With the love
For the sublime,
Reaching, heart and mind
All at once
In harmonious ties aligned,
Creating
The full emancipation
Of body and of mind.
