When We Need God - Poem by chuck Hurley

God keeps me company when I cannot find a friend
God is with me from the beginning and at the end.
God is not a stranger to you and I
God can not be found just in the sky.

God is everywhere in you and in me
God is everywhere just look and see.
Don't be an unbeliever because God is not in view
Just believe God loves me; as God also loves you.

Look at its creations and one that you love
Can you not believe God is here and also up above?
Pick a day when you are happy and content
And there God will be with love and sentiment.

Pick a day when you're sick and feeling blue
And there God will be with love; just for you.
Don't be depressed when He is not with you every day
Just remember when you need God; all you have to say

'Please dear God I need you again
Life is getting too much and I need a friend'.
Believe me God will come and show you its ways
But don't forget to give praise.

God does not need what you and I have to give
But as creator it wants the children to always live.
I give you my promise that if you have a problem today
Ask Jesus Christ and to God He will say.

'Lift their burden and help them as you helped me
Just as I loved them; so also I loved thee'.
