Where do you draw the poetry line,
When writing poetry.
How far do you go.
Must all the usual suspects be used,
All the time...
Love,
Nature,
Hope,
Dreams,
Birth,
Death,
Life,
Love again,
And love yet again.
Performing panda's juggling poetry books.
You get the idea.
The same old etc, etc, etc.
The same old blah, blah, blah.
The same old all poem roads leading to poetry Rome.
I guess it all boils down to a novel approach.
Something original.
Something fresh.
Something written against the poetry grain.
Something with said themes but with a different slant attached.
The damn the torpedoes approach.
To not just break poetry's golden rules,
But to shatter them,
And scatter them.
Once and for all.
I wish you well.
Performing panda's juggling poetry books...
Hhhmm!
I completely agree with you Shaun. It's so difficult to find a novel approach. I think the key is to keep reading and continue to keenly observe things that are occuring on a daily basis whether they be societal, political or to do with personal relationships etc. With this in mind, it's certainly a fascinating five out of five from me!
