Today,
Where did romance go?
Some yearn,
For many yesterdays
When Love,
Was cherished
And Hope was sought
Still alive,
As life's sweet,
Dove.
Today,
We look
Into the cold precipice,
Of "cultivate your hate",
With astonishment
And dismay!
As we perceive,
Nostalgic tears,
That fill the souls
Of those Romantics
That still believe
That Love is,
What keeps Life
From falling apart
And a torch of hope,
For every heart.
Love never dies and never loses hope... I love it, dear Ma’am Sandra...10++
Times are changing, something is lost something is gained. Love unfortunately belongs to the first category...10

Thoughtful and beautiful poem. Powerful words that touched my heart which I can relate to, since I am also yearning for those " yesterdays when love was cherished" and hoping and waiting for the day that it fills up my heart again. You beautifully encapsulated it as " Love is, what keeps life from falling apart, and a torch of hope for every heart" . Magnificent.
