Jerusha ''''

Whirlwind - Poem by Jerusha ''''

I'm in a whirlwind
It's blurry and blue
I'm running to somewhere
I'll never get to
I look up at the sky
And I wish I could fly
Fly straight to you

Through teary eyes
I see you reaching out
To take me away
To the land of clouds
But I'm stuck, aghast
In chains of the past
In chains of my doubts

And time stands still
As my vision clears
I push you away
Yet you remain near
I lay for a while
I think of you and smile
I think of you my dear
