Whispering Your Name Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Whispering Your Name

S-un has started rising,
Y-our birth is shining bright;
R-ainfall has just turned
I-nto a new morning
L-ight.

M-arch twenty-eight this year
O-pens the day so warm;
N-ight cold chill has turned
I-nto a dawn safe from harm.
C-louds that float in the air are clearing the skyway,
A-bove the green meadow, haze and mist fade away.

A-fter the strong wind weakens,
V-ile weather becomes fair;
I-nclement clime turns fine,
L-etting the true happiness share.
E-vening shadows disappear, as the dusk does the same;
S-oft touch of the breeze is whispering your name.
