Who Are You? Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Who Are You?

Rating: 5.0

I have been vouching you for long
And I know your whereabouts
When did you come and
What do you want, Who are you?

My heart says reveal what you feel
I fear after knowing this if you leave me
I am in a dilemma
What should I do, Who are you?

Once I have been betrayed
And have comforted my heart somehow
I'm afraid of bloodshed,
Why do I show you my heartbreak, Who are you?

Dreams have ignited some urge now
Aroused the sleeping giant within
I am afraid of the flood,
What if they break free, Who are you?

Now come out of your veil
For how long you will keep hiding
The moon has come out piercing the clouds
Why not show your presence. Who are you?

Awesome question who are you? At times we are lost in our thoughts and imaginations and fail to understand who we are and who the other fellow is. I see a philosophical touch in this poem, many question we can relate to our CREATOR though we see his sings but we cannot see him in any form due to our own limitations. Thought provoking poem.10 plus for this poem.

There is heartbreak, dilemma, fear and anxiety. But we hope nothing can hamper to lovable life. Moon has come outside to show face and beautify your way. Calmness is reflected and lover is felt. The veil is opened up and tenderness is expressed. This poem is wonderfully penned with much beauty....10

Sometimes too many questions are worthwhile asking. Good poem.

Some questions are pertinent and I quote: Dreams have ignited some urge now Aroused the sleeping giant within I am afraid of the flood, What if they break free, Who are you?
