Why Does Man Kill? - Poem by Hrishi Telcontar

Why does man,
A creature of clan,
Go afar,
To seek for war.
Is it for the blood he spills,
Or the thrill of a kill.
Is it for love,
Or the hate of dove.
Why do we slay,
Or the evil words we say,
Of hatred and death,
Or to see one take his last breath.
