Going through life like a calm breeze
Balancing struggles to keep things at ease
Achieving little goals for us to appease
Finding lost time to continue to breathe
Then still, I ask,
Why the big sigh?
Trying to keep a smile on your face
Finding laughter within our own grace
Conquer to see if there's plenty more space
Feeling we do have a strong enough base
But then still, I ask,
Why the big sigh?
Not all wars can be won,
Neighbors' lawns might be outdone
Can we not enjoy to have more fun?
There's no reason to compare us to anyone
As I don't want to ask,
But why the big sigh?
Are you happy right now, and carefree?
Or would there be somewhere else you'd rather be?
At certain times, it's so hard to see
Who is hanging onto my heart's key
As I don't want to ask,
But, why the big sigh?
Why the big sigh, why the big sigh
Do you feel you need to clarify?

A wildly introspective poem written in such an entertaining style! Makes you think! But in such a fun way! Loved this poem, Rebb! !
